Lately, Jillian has been painting specific pieces "for Daddy's office." She very carefully paints them, they dry on the wall, and then we take them down for Daddy to take to his office on campus. Last time she was painting, one of the pieces was "for Daisy for her bed." At first, I didn't understand. Then, she toodled over and pointed to a spot down low on the wall near Daisy's bed where she wanted this particular painting to hang . . . apparently for Daisy's enjoyment.

It's different than her other tri-color paintings. It's an original done in sweeping strokes of red.

I am not convinced that Daisy truly appreciates the fact that she is the muse for this breathtaking and inspiring piece of artwork that was strategically positioned at her eye level.
