What a fun and relaxing Christmas Season this was all the way around! We are having such a good time sharing all of our traditions (new and old) with our kiddos. We were joined at Christmas Eve service by Bubbie, Larry, and Barbara. There we were reminded of what an indescribable gift it is that Jesus was willing to come to earth as a baby. It was clear that Jillian is really beginning to understand the significance of that sacrifice as she watches her baby brother grow and change.
She also enjoyed the anticipation and excitement of Santa's arrival! So fun to see it all through her eyes. After reading The Polar Express, Jillian was just sure Santa would leave her a bell from his sleigh along with a pink candy cane. When she woke up Christmas morning, both items were on her pillow. She and Owen both received so many fun and thoughtful gifts from Santa and family and friends. BIG thank you to everyone!
A couple of days after Christmas, Papa and Nana came down and we were able to keep the Christmas fun rolling by celebrating with them. We miss them lots when they leave. Come back again soon!
