Uncle Joshua, who is an engineer for the CITY fire department and drives a RED truck, heard about this upcoming trip and called Jillian about an hour before we left to coach her on what to say to the COUNTY firemen who drive WHITE trucks, "Real fire trucks are red." Of course, she delivered this line flawlessly to the nice fireman who was holding the door for us on our way out to see the big WHITE fire truck. He turned to me and asked, "Who told you that???" I confessed. Oh, Jillian, my little magpie!
