Jillian has been talking about Uncle Joshua and Auntie Whitney so much this week. She has been looking forward to them coming for dinner tonight. It was all I could do to keep her occupied while she waited. She really wanted to stand at the window and look for them . . . but we weren't expecting them for a couple of hours still! So, her dolly, "Baby Tommy" kept her entertained.
Then, when we heard from Auntie Whitney that they would be leaving soon. Of course, it takes 45 minutes to drive up to our house. So, Jillian was dressed and ready for her dinner date with plenty of time to spare.
As soon as she was done eating, Jillian asked to be excused and then dragged them outside for a quick spin on the bike before bathtime.
She was happy to share her dessert cookies with Uncle Joshua tonight.
After she went to bed, we played a round of boys vs. girls Tribond. The boys won. There will have to be a rematch soon!
